Shark Tank Nepal is a Nepali-language adaptation of this global franchise, airing on Himalaya Television. This initiative, launched by Himalaya Television in 2021, marks a significant effort to bring the international entrepreneurial format to a Nepali audience. The debut season of Shark Tank Nepal was released in 2025. Its primary objective is to promote business development and celebrate entrepreneurship in a country rich in potential but historically constrained by limited opportunities for emerging ventures.

Who can register?

Any Nepali citizen aged 18 years or above and of sound health and mind can register for Shark Tank Nepal Season 2. The applicant must have a registered business operating in Nepal and must participate in accordance with the rules and regulations of the show.

When will registrations open and what is the deadline to submit the form?

Registrations will open once officially announced by the organizers. Entrepreneurs can apply through the official audition portal within the registration period announced by the organizers.

How can I access the registration form?

What should I keep in mind before registering?

Applicants should carefully read the terms and conditions and any guidelines provided by the organizers before submitting the application.

What is the selection process?

The audition process usually consists of several stages: Phase 1 – Initial Application Applicants submit basic information about themselves and their business. Phase 2 – Detailed Evaluation Shortlisted applicants may be asked to provide more detailed information such as financial data or a pitch video. Phase 3 – Interview / Final Shortlisting Selected applicants may be invited for further interviews or evaluation. Final Stage – Studio Pitch Finalists will pitch their business directly to the Sharks in the Shark Tank Nepal studio.

How will I know if I am selected?

If shortlisted, the Shark Tank Nepal team will contact you through the phone number or email address provided in your application.

Do I need to have a running business to apply?

Yes. Applicants are generally expected to have a registered and operational business in Nepal, preferably generating revenue.

Can a team or multiple founders apply?

Yes. Businesses with multiple founders or partners can apply. One founder can submit the application on behalf of the team.

If I have multiple business ideas, can I apply multiple times?

Each application should correspond to one business venture. Separate applications may be required for different businesses.

What documents will be required during the application process?

Applicants may be required to submit documents such as:

Citizenship or identity proof
Company registration certificate
Co-founders’ details
Business financial information
Product images or demonstration materials

Can I decline an offer from a Shark?

Yes. Entrepreneurs have the right to accept or decline any investment offer made by the Sharks.

Will all businesses receive investment?

No. Investment depends on whether the Sharks believe in the business opportunity and agree to invest.

Can I apply if my business is based outside Kathmandu?

Yes. Entrepreneurs from any province or region of Nepal can apply for Shark Tank Nepal Season 2.

Will my business idea be protected?

The organizers will review your submission only for evaluation purposes. However, applicants are encouraged to secure any intellectual property protection if necessary.
